If you want to print any of these pictures, and be able to control the size, follow this procedure. 1. First, save a copy of the large version of the picture on your own PC. 2. Second, open it in Word or in Photo Editor and adjust the size settings. 3. Finally, Print the page. Full details for each of these steps are given below. Save a copy of the picture on your PC ------------------------------------- Click on small Picture to display large version. Right click anywhere on the picture, Select "Save picture as ..." Choose a suitable folder to save it in, then click Save. Option 1, Using Microsoft Word ------------------------------ Create a new blank document. To maximise your working area, set the margins quite small e.g. From File - Page Setup, set the top, bottom, left, and right margins to 1cm or half an inch. Using the Insert menu, select Insert Picture -- from file. Find the folder and picture you want, and click "Insert". You can adjust the size of the picture in one of two ways: either (a) Select the picture (click once on it) and drag the corner handles (small black blocks in the corners). or (b) Select the picture (click once on it) and in the Format Menu, select Format picture (usually the last item in the list). You will then get a dialogue box that includes a "Size" tab. Print the page in the normal way. (To get a good quality picture, avoid draft or economy mode) With Microsoft Word, you can add several pictures on to one page and then print them. For really wide pictures you may wish to turn the paper sideways to landscape (File - Page Setup) Option 2, using Microsoft Photo Editor -------------------------------------- Start up Microsoft Photo Editor (usually part of Office Tools) Select the piture using File -- Open Choose Print... from the File menu If required (for really wide pictures), turn the paper sideways by clicking on the printers' Properties button, and selecting landscape. Select Size of picture, or "fit to page". Then click OK to Print. (To get a good quality picture, check printer properties and avoid draft or economy mode)
